About MatchTag
This site is currently in beta, and we are about to launch it to the whole interweb.
Why build this?
I like meeting random people. I've often sat around and wanted to just meet chat with someone new or meet up for coffee.. and dating sites always seemed like they have such a stigma around them. I wanted something that I could use to meet guys or girls, not for dating but just as activity partners... someone to have fun with.
Also, when I've travelled to new cities, I've often wished that there was some way I could just meet local people and find out what they're doing around town.. instead of wandering out into the city on my own. This was built to solve that problem.

Where is this site headed
Well, we have plenty of ideas on where we want it to go and we're working hard to take it there. At the same time, we would LOVE to hear your ideas and opinions as well. Please feel free to mail us your ideas anytime, and if we use them, we will handsomely reward you (mostly with really nice tags).
In general though, we would like this site to be a fantastic and fun way to meet people, no matter what your interests may be.
